Saturday's doubleheader concert plans were jettisoned. I swam for an hour and was more tired than I usually am after yoga. I missed the last yoga class of the day because I spent a wonderful afternoon with my daughter. Amazing how we can talk forever and still say "oh I forgot to tell you ..."
Shortly before I was supposed to leave for the concert, it was raining on and off. Fortunately, we didn't have to buy our tickets in advance. Besides, my daughter and son-in-law called to say they got a new puppy, and I had to go check her out.
Now I can see why all my friends who have grandchildren are so excited all the time. You get all the cuteness and none of the work or expense. How fun! No doubt even more exciting than a grandpuppy.
Anyway ... about the grandpup, "Daisy" is a boxer in case you couldn't tell. She's affectionate, and quite playful and frisky, but when it's time to sleep, she loves to snuggle. So adorable. Next thing you know, I'll be pulling little mini books of Daisy out of my purse to show off to all my friends. {woof}
