How to Amuse Your Coworkers: Schnappi Das Kleine Krokodil

I sent a copy of this German song about the cuddly, spunky, adorable little crocodile, Schnappi, to my work email one fine day.  And then I played it on my computer until all my former coworkers got hooked on it.  Imagine well educated, middle aged professional men singing this ad infinitum, and then you'll understand why they wanted to strangle me.  Yes, this song's cute, and catchy, and after it gets stuck in your head, incomprehensibly irritating.  But fun, always cheerful.

The lyrics in German are shown below so you can sing along and in English so you know what you're singing.  I went to a lecture recently where the speaker had the audience singing "Ah - Zee - Mah - Oh."  My friend and I refused to sing as we didn't know if that had some innocent or inspirational meaning or we were singing about the relative pleasure of stepping in cow pies.  Anyway ... I'd never ask you to sing without providing some meaning (assuming English is comprehensible to you).  Be sure to read all the way to the end ... Schnappi actually sings about biting into his dad's leg.  {Sounds pretty gruesome}
