If you have read some of my previous posts in this blog, you know how much I love the mountains. I enjoy them every day, even if it's just glancing at them while I'm driving to/from home. We Utahns see the mountains even in the most ordinary of places, ie the grocery store parking lot.
The photos below were taken nearby the Cottonwood Corporate Center. I'm sure you'll agree it's an amazing view for a parking lot.
Mitch said it was kind of chilly at night :)
ReplyDeleteMt Hood is pretty but I much prefer our beautiful mountains. These pictures look like you took them near my parents home. They're gorgeous!
Yes - this is the parking lot near the Cottonwood Corporate Center so close to your parents. My goal is to photograph many mountains from our local parking lots just so folks from out of town know I'm not kidding when I tell them how big and gorgeous our mountains are.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are fantastic photos. Have you been to Sedona? Not the same sort of mountains, but the red cliffs in the background of the shops is a somewhat similar view to these great shots.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Sedona! I spent quite a few childhood years in Arizona and we'd go to "slide rock". I'm going to Sedona again later this year for a family reunion. At least that is the plan. Southern Utah looks more like Sedona but the light is giving the mountains have a red tinge in part because of the time of day. Glad you like the photos.
