Jigathon ... Irish Music Festival: Part 2

Press PLAY, please.  Better to read this one with some background music.

Hope you're listening to the music so you can get the full effect.  Imagine dancing to this band for well over an hour.  Yes, we did.  Jigs, whirls, allemande left and right, do si do.  And jumping.
The Young Dubliners were all that a Celtic addict such as myself could have hoped for.  Well, except they're not young, but apparently, they're younger than the other Dubliners. Lively, spirited, fun loving, happy, and above all, energetic.  They kept every lad and lassie at the stage completely engaged for about 90 minutes.  They, too, had a fiddle, a piper, guitars, bass, keyboard, mandolin, vocals, drums, and an endless stream of Celtic rock songs like "Saints and Sinners," "I Don't Think I'll Love Anymore," and "Rosie."

We were right at the front of the stage. It was wild. It was not to be missed. One person commented they were certain they'd gotten their cardio in for the day.  Undoubtedly.  So very fun. {a picture is worth 1000 words, especially in this case}

Disclosure: Ticket price for the festival was $20. I received NO compensation for this review.
